"Jesus stands at the door and knocks. Will you let him in?"

QUESTION:Where does salvation come from? Does it come from our sense that something is desperately wrong and we need to change and make it better? Does it come from casting things in a more positive light so we don't become discouraged and quit? Does it come from a lucky break? Does it come because we are scrupulously righteous and deserve salvation to come our way? Does it come from rigorously obeying everything in the law?
ANSWER: No! Salvation and forgiveness come from one source, "the tender mercy of our God."

Because God loves us, he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, that if you believe in him, you will not be lost to sin but gain eternal life.Get a Bible . . . Read John 3:16, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8, Acts 16:31 and  Read  slowly. Let it soak in. Make a note of anything that comes to you. Then Pray  "Lord, I am lost (or I have sinned against thee). I need your saving grace to cleanse me of my sin, I believe Jesus died for atonement of my sins. By faith, I claim Jesus as my Savior. I am yours." Then listen to see if God has something to say to you.
Note: The time one spends with our family and friends allows one to get to know them better.  It is the same with God.
